Data retention

Active accounts

While your account is active, we retain your financial entries indefinitely so that long-term forecasts and trend reports remain useful.

Closed accounts

When you delete your account, your data is retained for 30 days so you can recover it. After 30 days, all data is permanently removed except for audit events tied to bank consents, which are retained for 7 years per the SAMA Open Banking framework.

Backups

Encrypted backups are produced before each deployment. Backups containing deleted accounts are rotated out within 90 days.
